Okay, I told myself I wouldn't upload anything until I completed all the prizes and sketches from my competition (the last year has been hell x__x ). But just this once...

I recently bought a yellow mutation female turk parrot named Elena. My male, Reno, was so excitied, he was chattering away to her and bobbing his head up and down... it was adorable. They are already pretty much bonded, and can always be seen on the same branch or ground together.

So here's my turks Reno and Elena celebrating Valentine's Day with a Valentine's style courtship dance. This was for a competition at the bird forum I frequent and I had to finish it quickly to meet the deadline... so only took about 4 hours of much rushing. x__x

The branch with the moon behind it concept was inspired by =snapesnogger's piece, Final lullaby: [link] .
References were used for the poses. Took photos of my birds to get their individual markings accurate.
